Rules of Conduct for Students and Chaperons

1. All participants will follow the rules and schedules governing the Rally. Failure to do so could result in the participant being sent home at parent's or guardian's expense.

2. In the event of an infraction of the rules, the appropriate chaperon and the Idaho Youth Rally Director will decide upon action to be taken.

3. Participants may return home early from the Rally in case of an emergency or other valid reason after approval of our chaperon and Rally Director.

4. Participants will attend all classes and activities unless excused by our State's chaperon and Rally Director.

5. Participants who drive their own vehicles to the Rally will deposit vehicle keys with the Rally Director upon arrival.

6. No participants will be in dorm areas during classes or activities unless given permission by our State's chaperon and Rally Director.

7. No short shorts will be worn to classroom activities. Participants will dress in good taste in classrooms. At activities, dress will be appropriate for the activity.

8. The use of alcohol or drugs during the Rally is strictly prohibited.

9. Abusive language will not be tolerated.

10. Sexual misconduct will not be tolerated and will result in being immediately sent home.

11. All persons and property will be treated with respect at all times. Any person destroying or damaging property will be referred to Security and charged for the damage.

12. All participants will be in their own rooms by 10:30 p.m. each night except Friday night. On Friday night, all participants will be in their own rooms by 1:00 a.m.

Note: The word "participant" includes both students and chaperons.
