If you don’t see your outage location highlighted on the map, please report it now.
Although planned outages are rare, there are times when maintenance or upgrades require us to de-energize certain areas. We are committed to providing advanced notice of these situations far ahead of the actual events.
How to Report a Power Outage
When an outage occurs, restoration of service is our priority. Here are the steps to follow when you experience a power outage:
- Check fuses or circuit breakers.
- Call a neighbor to see if they have power.
- Report outage to your HEA offices by calling 1 (888) 868-8243 (1-888-8OUTAGE within the state of Alaska). Or call (907) 235-8551 or (907) 283-5831 and press #2. This will directly forward you to HEA’s Outage Reporting System.
Our crews will restore service as soon as they are able. Remember it is important, and your responsibility, to protect your sensitive electronic equipment. Please be patient.
