HEA Responds to Multiple Outages Due to High Winds, Fallen Trees

Homer Electric Association, Inc. (HEA) crews responded to multiple power outages on September 30, 2020 which were all caused by trees falling onto the power lines due to the high winds experienced this morning.

– Deerfield Street in Anchor Point at 2:16 AM and restored at 6:20 AM. (37 members)
– Iron Street in Soldotna at 5:33 AM and restored at 6:50 AM. (23 members)
– Beaver Loop in Kenai at 5:31 AM and restored at 7:50 AM. (262 members)
– Cabin Lake area in Nikiski at 6:05 AM and restored at 10:10 AM. (62 members)
– Autumn Street in Nikiski at 12:12 PM and restored at 14:15 PM. (23 members)

Remember to stay away from downed power lines, which may still be energized, and call HEA at 888-868-8243 or 911 to report it immediately.
