Homer Electric Association, Inc. (HEA) is proud to announce our 2023 Youth Rally Leadership Camp applications are available for Sophomores or Juniors.
- The Youth Rally Leadership Camp is held at the College of Idaho in Caldwell. It provides an opportunity for two sophomores or juniors attending high schools to learn about different electric companies, electric safety, future energy needs and the roles our electric company plays in our community.
- The week is filled with fun and learning about consumed-owned utilities, listening to amazing motivational speakers, develop leadership skills and self-esteem, and building lasting relationships with other high schools students from Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho and Wyoming.
- Winning students could be eligible for selection as the Alaska representative to the National Rural Electric Cooperative’s Nation Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. in June of 2023.
The deadline for scholarship applications is May 1, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
