Maintaining reliable electric service to our members is one of our top priorities at HEA. In the event that natural gas supplies impact our ability to provide reliable electric service, HEA and our utility partners including ENSTAR, Chugach Electric, Matanuska Electric, and others will implement the steps outlined in the Energy Watch Program video below or found in the graphic linked here. This program is in place to assist members with energy conservation recommendations during the varying stages of gas supply shortage. HEA will publicly alert members through various communication channels if any event triggers the yellow Caution stage of the Energy Watch Program.
