Application Instructions:
Important: To be eligible for a rebate, you must apply before purchasing or installing a heat pump:

Complete the Heat Pump Rebate Application and submit it to heatpumps@homerelectric.com or deliver it to any HEA office along with all required documents.

Have your contractor submit a W-9 form.

If financing is needed, complete a Line of Credit Application – available in PDF format or electronically.
*The PDF must be submitted with your rebate application; the electronic version is submitted automatically once completed.
Program Terms:
- $500 on-bill credit to the installing member or business.
- $500 rebate to a licensed contractor in HEA’s service territory.
- Rebates are limited to 20 systems; additional applications will be waitlisted.
- Installations must be completed within 90 days of approval.
- Installations are subject to inspection by HEA.
- HEA may collect anonymous electric usage and require post-installation fuel use updates.
- Members are responsible for any applicable tax obligations; HEA will issue IRS Form 1099 if required.
