Calling all Sophomores & Juniors

2020 Youth Rally Leadership camp has been canceled for this year.

Every year HEA awards two high school sophomores or juniors an all-expenses-paid trip to attend a week-long leadership camp at the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho.

HEA’s Board of Directors is committed to enriching the educational experience of our local students and supporting future members of the Cooperative. Winning students could be eligible for scholarships and to be selection as the Alaska representative to the National Rural Electric Cooperative’s Nation Youth Tour in Washington, D.C.

young girls doing the hang ten hand gesture, sitting on steps in front of a building, You will attend interesting educational sessions, listen to amazing motivational speakers, play summer games of challenges and participate in fun activities such as barbecues, dances, bowling, and the local water park. All activities and games are designed to strengthen communication and leadership abilities and increase knowledge of the electric utility industry.
