Homer Electric Association Inc. (HEA) Certifies Seven Candidates to Appear on its 2025 Election Ballot to Serve as a Board Member on the HEA Board of Directors
HEA’s board nomination period for the 2025 Election to the Board of Directors closed at 5:00 p.m. today, February 28, 2025. Seven candidates submitted completed candidate applications and were certified to appear on the 2025 Ballot as follows:
In District #1 (Kenai-Nikiski-parts of Soldotna):
- Wayne Ogle
- Patrick Parker
District #2 (Soldotna-Sterling-Kasilof area):
- Dan Furlong
- Mitchell Michaud
District #3 (Kasilof-Homer-Seldovia area):
- Matthew Bullard
- Rick Eckert
- Erin McKittrick
HEA Members will have the opportunity to vote for a candidate to serve on HEA’s Board of Directors within the Member’s district of residence starting March 28, 2025. A ballot may be cast in one of three ways: (1) electronically through HEA’s online voting portal; (2) by requesting a mail-in ballot; or (3) in person at HEA’s Annual Meeting. Results of HEA’s 2025 Election for the Board of Directors will be announced at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Members on May 1, 2025, at Kenai Central High School, 9583 Kenai Spur Highway, Kenai, AK 99611.
