The 2026 HEA Board of Directors Election opens for voting on April 3, 2026. Members can vote for a board candidate, within their district of residence, in one of three ways: (1) through the online Election Portal; (2) by requesting a paper mail-in ballot; or (3) in person during the Annual Meeting on May 7, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Soldotna High School.
All members with a valid email address on file will be emailed their individual voting credentials for the online Election Portal on April 3, 2026. Those members without a valid email on file will be mailed a letter containing their individual voting credentials for the online Election Portal. Lastly, mail-in ballots will be mailed to all members who have previously requested a paper mail-in ballot. Members who would like to receive a paper mail-in ballot, can request a paper ballot through the request form on HEA’s website (vote.homerelectric.com) or by calling Member Services at (800) 478-8551 for assistance. If you have not requested a mail-in ballot by April 24, we strongly recommend voting online or in-person.
Members who cast their ballot by 5 p.m. on May 6, 2026, will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize. Please note that the Election Portal closes May 6, 2026, at 5 p.m. All paper mail-in ballots must be mailed to the Election Vendor in the signed business reply envelope and received by the Election Vendor by 5 p.m. on May 6, 2026. HEA cannot accept paper ballots in person, or any paper ballots that are dropped off to an HEA drop box.
