Homer Electric Association (HEA) celebrated the commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony for our newest innovative project, the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), at the Soldotna Generation and Substation Facility on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Thank you to the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce for partnering with us and making this day a success. We are excited about this project and the opportunity to modernize our grid and create clean energy.
