“Get on Board” with Homer Electric Association, Inc. (HEA)
HEA’s Board of Director Candidate Nomination Period is Open Through March 1, 2024 at 5:00 PM
Members of Homer Electric are invited to “Get on Board” by running to serve as a board member for the cooperative. To be placed on the ballot for HEA’s 2024 Election, potential candidates must be a member of HEA and return a completed Candidacy Packet declaring their intent to sit for election as a Board Member in the candidate’s district of residence.
HEA has three districts as follows:
District #1 (Kenai-Nikiski-parts of Soldotna)
District #2 (Soldotna-Sterling-Kasilof area)
District #3 (Kasilof-Homer-Seldovia area)
The Candidacy Packet is available online at https://www.homerelectric.com/my-cooperative/board-of-directors/elections/ and at HEA offices in Kenai and Homer. The deadline to submit the completed Candidacy Packet is 5 PM on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Completed packets can be submitted at either the Kenai or Homer HEA offices or emailed to BoardCandidate@homerelectric.com. Members can vote for their board representative commencing March 29, 2024, and the results will be announced at HEA’s Annual Meeting of the Members scheduled on May 2, 2024, at Homer High School
