Main Goal
Thank you for your consideration to reelect me to your HEA Board of Directors. For the past 3 years, I have fought to keep our electricity reliable and affordable for our members. If re-elected, this will continue to be my goal.
We must strive to remain energy secure, preparing for supply chain disruptions and economic fluctuations in our state, nation, and world. I support our board’s recent Strategic Plan to develop our local gas reserves, grow our hydro capabilities, and explore for geothermal resources in the Cook Inlet Basin. HEA will continue to diversify and strengthen its energy portfolio based on our unique location, local resources, and energy needs.
While on the HEA Board, I have served as Vice President and obtained my Credentialed Cooperative Director certificate from the NRECA. Professionally, I continue to consult as a Rig Supervisor, managing drilling rigs and overseeing up to 150 contractors. My BA is in Geology.
Sterling has been my home since 1981. I’ve built 2 homes and started 3 local businesses. My interests include fishing, hunting, beekeeping, farming, and volunteering at church.
